Artist, textile designer and now home-style guru Kim Parker reveals
her extraordinary personal style and design process and shows how
anyone can create their own ‘interior garden.’ Parker
combines her own fantastic floral patterns with funky flea market
finds, fashionable antiques and starkly modern pieces to show that
any style can be brightened with bold floral prints.
Kim Parker Home chronicles the author's challenging rise to the top of the design
world with a hopeful story of her hard work and determination. The
book captures breathtaking shots of Kim's varied collections of
dinnerware, giftware, designer rugs, bedding, fabrics, decorative
pillows, stationery and wall art, amid lushly colourful interiors,
as well as photographs of inspirational objects in nature. This
interiors / lifestyle book is in the tradition of STC's successful
An Affair with a House, this time with an urban contemporary point
of view.
A
wonderful sourcebook for anyone with an eye for mixing vintage and
contemporary, Kim Parker Home is also a revealing window
on how to make the most of your own creativity and vision.
